  Not a good experience.... Came to site, quoted and we agreed a fee, we promptly paid the deposit and then they sent me dimensions to check , which I thought was odd, the fire place was asymmetrical ( which they said they were aware of) so I sent measurements back and photos with further questions asking for their advice and asking them to ensure they check the measurements again on site as this is what we were paying for their expertise right ? (I should add nearly £900 or so). Being the customer I didn't want any mistakes and told them so, ( which I thought was normal.. I have many clients who reiterate how important their jobs are? and I didnt want them relying on my 'quick' dimensions ) To my surprise they took this very personally and then said by e-mail they thought I was questioning their 30 years of expertise and they wanted to return my deposit ? I even had the decency to call them and apologise as I had hoped wires hadn't been crossed and perhaps my mail had been misinterpreted. I wasnt being rude, as the customer I was only worried about checking dimensions .Anyway another 'email' later ? No they wouldn't do the job. Very odd totally unprofessional and little integrity a complete waste of time. IMO.

  Had my fire fitted last week. Couldn’t have asked for better service. I visited their showroom before christmas to look at all the different fires and surrounds, Lesley couldn’t have been nice in the showroom. We left with lots of brochures and lots to think about. We contacted them again post christmas and told them the fire we think we wanted and went back in to see it again to confirm, they had lit the fire so we could see it in action. Great customer service. We agreed a time and fee for fitting and Craig turned up on time, protected the furniture in the room and completed the job to a great standard. No hesitation to recommend.
